. . . so I'm posting it here as well as the Restaurant Board.

My family and I will be in MK on one of the days in October when the park closes at 6:00 p.m. for MNSSHP (we are not attending). I would like to have an early dinner at CP that evening (say around 5:00ish), but am wondering if that's a good idea considering the additional crowds that will be entering the park for the party? Should we avoid this and maybe do lunch instead? I'm beginning to wonder if I would have trouble even getting a ressie (I call tomorrow) due to the party. Help?

Will they allow you to schedule it at 6 and exit the park when you're done? That way you'll get your full day's rides in, and your meal.

I'd try to do that, too. The crowds at MNSSHP won't affect dinner at CP - that dinner will be crowded whenever you go.

Will anyone in your family (little ones) get upset when the leave dinner and see the Halloween festivities and then you tell them they can't stay? I would hate to have your magical dinner ruined if that could be an issue.

Oooo . . . hadn't thought of that. My children are 13 (DS) and 10 (DD). I really don't know if they would mind not staying for the party or not. They don't even know about it. We have always gone to Disney in October, but have never done MNSSHP. Not sure why. When do they start transforming the park?
