It was a fold-over postcard that came by mail with Ratatouille on the front that reads The secret ingrediant to the perfect vacation!

Inside is an offer for a Free Quick-Service Dining Plan for most stays 4/11/10-6/3/10 and 6/4/10-8/14/10 with the purchase 4 night/5 day package. It says to be sure to have your Pin # ready when you book.

The funny thing is it was addressed to my mother (who lives in Florida), but with my address and zip code. I know for a fact that she has never visited the Disney website, ordered a DVD, nor does she have a Disney Visa. :confused3

Sadly, I can't use this offer b/c my trip this summer (ironically, with my mom) is just going to be for only 2 nights. The offer isn't valid for the dates that we are taking our family vacation.

Congrats on your PIN!

2 Things: 1) Is changing the dates to your vacation an option?

2) Is your mother a part of this "Family Vacation," because I believe she has to be a guest on the reservation or you can't use the PIN.

No, to both questions. Our family trip is booked for Feb. 2011...no date changes and no mom. :sad1:

The trip that my mom and I are taking is in July. We have a great BB Rate booked for the BWI. One park day we are using our GAD ticket, and then we are planning on purchasing or just upgrading for the 2nd day of park tickets.

Just curious, what is the $value of the QSDP?

$31.99 per night per adult or junior (ages 10-17), $9.99 per night for children (ages 3-9).:)

just a reminder, although the qsdp costs 31.99, the discount of free qsdp is only off a full price rack rate room. So, you do have to balance that with any room discount you are losing. And usually a % discount at a delux will outweigh the free dining.

This is exactly what I got yesterday! And I live in SC also :cutie: Mine was addressed to my mom, who has traveled with me to WDW several times over the years, but at my address. Same exact offer.

I also recieved this pin today but can't use it as it was in my sister name with my address. LOL I live in Ohio she lives in Massachusetts.
It's okay because I was able to use my AP for 40% off rate for room, I don't think the pin would have saved me any more it was for free dining.

Thanks everyone! I'll crunch some numbers, but I'm sure the 40% off at BWI will be the better deal. I still wonder how the offer ended up in my mailbox with her name...just one of those pin code mysteries, I guess. ;)

lol, this must be the Charleston pin code thread! I was at the DBF's parents' house tonight and saw they had one of these too! Just got it the other day they said. Haha!

I got it too in my mom's name but at my address. She doesn't live with me either. She didn't do any of the things people have been trying to get a pin as she doesn't even have a computer. lol But she did travel with us about 10years ago. We can't use it as we are going in Nov. I sure wish I could give it to someone though.

it was addressed to my son's ex girlfriend.... Her name is Dannielle M*****... but the card came in Daniel M***** with my address .... Been waiting forever to get a pin. Now I get one that I can't use!!! The thing is since she received one there will probably be more to follow that I still cant use!!! I have entered my name and address every way that I know how to get a pin... Still no luck!!

Maybe to get around it someone in your family could do a legal name change to Daniel M, then you would be able to use the PIN. :rotfl: Depends how far you want to go with it. LOL
