I think I've decided on Windsor Hills... can anyone help me find a place?

After spending 2 full days researching all the different areas and options... I think I've decided to find a place within the Windsor Hills Resort. I love all the extra amenities along with the close proximity to the parks.

Now I begin the daunting task of finding a condo or townhome.

I have a couple questions that I hope some of you might have the answers to.

Are there any condos that face the pool? My little one will need to nap and I thought it might be nice to let my older girls swim and still be able to keep an eye on them by sitting on the balcony.

How far are the townhomes from the pool?

Anyone have places they have stayed that they would like to reccomend?

There are condos that face the pool, but not many. I'd say that there is one building from which you can probably see the pool from most of the pool-facing units. If you go to http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&t=h...593496&spn=0.000826,0.00114&z=19&source=embed you can see the condo building just to the north of the pool. There may be some units that have partial views of the pool. There are probably obstructions to the view even from that closest building. My google measurements say it's about 450ft from the exterior of the closest condo building to the pool by the most direct route I could find.

If you go to that google map and scroll south a little, you'll see the townhomes (to the east of the dry retention pond). They're about the same distance away as the condos, just in the opposite direction. The most distant one seems to be about a .3 miles from the clubhouse complex (about 400ft further than the most-distant condo building).

Here's another map of Windsor Hills. The Ventura section is the condos. #8 is the only one overlooking the pool. The Vista section is the townhouses. We were in building #20 and it took us less than 5 min to walk to the clubhouse pool.

Just to caution you, there is no lifeguard at the main pool and I believe younger children have to have an adult with them. There is someone that tends the slide at certain times through the day but they don't act as a lifeguard.
If you were to stay in a townhouse then your girls would be right out your patio door in the splash pool with the little one upstairs or in the front bedroom.
If you do a search on this site for Windsor Hills you will find some threads about condos and townhouses that others have stayed in.
Good luck! :)
