I think I'm spending the night in Atlanta

I thought I'd make good use of the wi-fi and Airtan and check the DIS Boards. Our flight out of MSP took off so late, that our chance of making our connecting flight in Atlanta are slim to none. Anyone ever gotten stuck in Atlanta overnight?

You will be fine...theres tons of hotels in the airport area. You are probably already at one as I type.

There is a small chance they made it. According to AirTran's website, the flight from MSP arrived at 10:03 and the flight to MCO left at 10:19 (scheduled 10:05). Sometimes airlines will hold flights for connecting passengers if it's the last of the night. Most of AirTran's gates at ATL are close together.

Amazingly enough, they held the plane! Our flight crew was supposed to work the same flight, so they said it should be ok, but then they got news that they replaced them, so they said our chances were slim, but we ran like crazy, luckily only 3 gates over and they were holding the doors open for us!!!
