Im not getting as much back this year as last year from my taxes. So, once I knew what I was getting, I was figuring out a Disney budget..... Tickets, hotel, food, car rental, gas for car, and spending money = $3800! *GASP!*

I called him kinda bummed - I'd have to take $1500 from the taxes, and save $150 per check, to make this happen. He's like, all positive and said - oh yeah, that’s fine...we can do that. :thumbsup2

And I said - I don’t know if we'll be able to go to Vegas - and he said, we'll look at that in a few weeks, Im not that concerned about it right now (and neither am I - and this was for our wedding!!!!! ! ! )

And then I ask - you wanna go to Disney, right? And he goes, OMG, yes - yes, absolutely.

So, *eventually* I'll marry him - he's perfect!

Putting off your wedding to go to Disneyworld - I'm sick!!! :lmao: But it *is* a family vacation - Im putting the entire family first.... <keep on thinking that, keep on thinking that....>

do what makes you and your soon to be DH happy. Im sure your kids will like it as well. Good luck, remember to have fun.

sounds like he is putting the whole family first too, thats awesome!!!

Aww... that's very sweet!

My husband turns an lighter shade of pale when I even mention Disney (he's the anti-Disney), so really a guy who loves Disney as much as you do and wants to put the family first is a keeper in my book.

Married in Disney??? That would be simply amazing - but what would that run me?!?!?

I dont have mucho-buck-a-roni's ..... anyone know of a way to do it, without breaking the bank?

***I like this idea!!!*** :groom: :bride: :cloud9:

You could always hit the justice of the peace before you leave & then celebrate with a family-moon. :thumbsup2

OMG that would be so much FUN if you can pull it together! :rotfl:

Getting married doesn't have to have a price tag. DH and I (second marriage for both) were married by the mayor of our town with only our immediate families present. The license was $10 and the mayor wouldn't accept any $!
Your fiance sounds perfect - why wait?! A family trip to WDW is the perfect getaway/honeymoon for a new family! Oh, and just think of the bigger tax break you'll get when you file - married!

We got married on July 12th of 2004. Family and one friend met us and DS (then 2) at the county courthouse. We got married by the Probate Judge about 9:30ish, and then drove the rest of the day, stopping outside Orlando for the night, and then hitting POFQ and MK bright and early the next morning!

After all of the different plans we had discussed for weddings and honeymoons, we both agree that we couldn't have done it any better.
