The disney excitement that is.
Have a trip booked for the May long weekend with a flight credit we received for a trip we did at Christmas. Used our dvc points for aklv in a savanna view studio. Nearly choked when I paid $140 per person for a 1 day park hopper. Can't for the life of me get dh or the boys (20&14.5) to sit down and plan what they want to see or do while we are there!!! Only thing they decided is that they want to attempt all 4 parks in 1 day so it is going to be a very long day.
Maybe it's because the boys are older now or maybe it's because we have been so many times but none of us seem to be able to drum up the excitement about going to Disney - we will still have a great time as we always make the best of every trip but it just doesn't seem the same!! We did 1 night at the end of our cruise at Christmas and only went downtown Disney but it seemed to be all of the same old stuff we've seen there for the last 10yrs. But with wall to wall people and a lot of them seemed to have no manners at all!!
And then there is this whole fast pass plus stuff....... And having to pre-book meals way ahead of time (yes has been like that for years now) How bad will wait times be for rides if we just wing it?? Not expecting to be able to get a sit down meal and we are A-ok with quick serve so that part isn't an issue.
Will be our first time doing the parks in about 4 years (other then dl which we did 2 yrs ago!!) so am interested to see what if anything has changed!
