I'm shocked that there are so many people that had no idea this was going down for refurb and seem shocked it will be closed when they go. You are probably the 30th person that has mentioned they had no idea this was going to be closed. Don't people check the refurb schedule before planning there trip I know I do! I can't be the only one......

I didn't think to check. I booked this a few months ago. I don't know when the scheduled refurb for POTC was released. I'm going again in the late fall so I'll be ok then.

I am disappointed about that too. We just got AP's and it has been closed, and it is the ONE thing my son has really wanted to ride.

We have been there when Buzz Lightyear was closed. Ofcourse, we had to go back when it opened.

We have been there during the change over from Alien Encounter to Stitch. Had to go back to see Stitch.

Stayed at the Yacht Club when they were refurbing the pool. It wasn't closed, but it just wasn't the same. Yep..we had to go back and get the fully refurbed pool.

Last year when we went, IASW was closed. DH was thrilled--My little girl was so sad

I was bummed out to find that they're rehabbing it, but I found out it's going to be open for two days of our trip! I plan to get a ride in before they close it again.
