ZIT. I know, it's gross. But you know when it's happening. It could be a big one, yuck! It's by my nose, and it's red and tender. Been that way for a day or so. I am almost 41 years old (birthday's in 16 days, in case you care ;) ), but I still battle the occasional zit, why is that? Anyone else have this problem? It's not all the time, and usually only one shows up, but it's usually not small and it hurts. Okay, now everyone's opinion of my has changed. How can you be cute, and have a zit?

I don't know, tc, but I'll bet you still pull off that cute part :teeth:

too much chocolate..
I have the same problem..:o

I don't eat chocolate, I haven't had a Dr. Pepper in a week. I am eating right, and taking my whole food supplements daily. So, now what's the problem!

Do you have a dance to go to or something??...lol
isn't that when they always pop up?

My Mum has occasional adult-onset acne, and she just turned 46. Don't worry, you're not alone.

Your not alone. I get the occasional zit, too. I hate it!

honey, tell me about it. To put it bluntly I'm ovulating at the moment and am breaking out. In two weeks when, well, how can I put it, I'm sure I'm not pregnant, it'll happen again. And can I add I've read that chocolate doesn't cause acne. Which would be good for me sense I'm a self-admitted chocaholic.

Eros, do you think I need a lesson in humility?

tc, we ALL need lessons in humility.............ESPECIALLY EROS;) ;) ;) ;) .......

Acne is never caused by food, with the exception of greasy foods, whereby the grease gets on your face and clogs your pores.

I was about to try it myself, but I don't have the money right now but know many people who SWEAR by Proactiv. Forget Judith Light, and Vanessa Williams and the infomercial! If the stuff wasn't $40 + s&h, I'd order it right now!

If you're looking to get rid of acne, Proactiv is apparently the stuff to get!

I second the Proactive. Even though I posted earlier I was having a breakout it's not even close to how it usually is. Not to be gross but the acne was painful and almost like a welt. Now even though I break out it's not half as bad. Really is a good product but very strong so start out with it slow.

Eros, I guess the fact that I wasn't sure I needed the lesson, shows that I do, huh?

I've been wanting to try Proactive for a long time, but don't want to pay $40!

Oh great... no I have a lifetime of zits to look forward to. Was commenting to a co-worker the other day that I couldn't believe I was still getting them even though I'm in my late twenties now. SIGH. :)

Sorry about the blemish. Don't have any helpful advice. I just realized my birthday is the day after yours. 31, here.;)
