I think I'm depressing all the Dining CMs...

Yes, I'll freely admit I call Disney Dining 5 times a day:) I have my routine down to a well-oiled monologue and it's a sad fact that some of the CMs know me by name--I'm nothing if not persistent :rotfl2: Anyway...I think they are all getting depressed talking to me. I guess saying, "I'm sorry that restaurant is booked up for your entire stay" over and over in the same call could get depressing after a while. It's gotten to the point where I warn them that they will most likely not have what I want but not to feel bad because I have other dining options and will just keep trying for cancellations since I refuse to give up hope. That usually makes them feel a little better but you can still tell that it's almost frustrating for them. Still, there is nothing better than when they do find you something you need (like when I got CRT lunch yesterday after 2 1/2 months of trying and kept telling the CM that I loved her--she was as excited as I was!)...I guess it balances out but I really do feel bad being such a downer for all of them!

Well, all in all, consider this your learning experience...book much earlier...you can always cancel, but you can't always get them!!! Good luck, and glad to hear you CRT!!!!! Have a blast!

My agent actually called at 7:00 at 90 days out...we weren't able to get a few things we wanted and also had an itinerary change once we did get what we wanted. I've been planning this trip for 2 years:)

Doesn't that make you wonder if they should have a waiting list???

At work, I do reservations for a golf course and get sooooooooo annoyed when people call over and over and over again for a reservation. BUT, the main reason for that is because we have a waiting list... if something comes up, we are going to give you a call! Instead, we have the same people who we do begin to learn by name and can't stand to take their calls.

Maybe Disney should try a waiting list! :flower:

Thank goodness we have free long distance on our phone plan with Verizon:)

We have never had any problems get PS. We went during slow times. We will be there in March this trip so we will probanly have a harder time. We stayed at the WL in late Jan. We had a great time. The bunkbeds were a big hit with the kids. We had an inner courtyard room and we were on groung level so we never had to take an elevator. Our view was amazing and the kids had more room to roam by the bridge and small viewing area of the lake. I would also love to stay at the Poly. Have a magical trip! :wizard:

Thanks for asking! Here is my wish list that I keep trying for:) The most important to try and get is the 1900 Park Fare dinner--I can work around the others:) We are a party of 5...

1900 Park Fare Dinner: 11/30 and 12/1 (before 7:00), 12/3 (any time), 12/4 (before 7:00)or 12/5 (before 6:00)
Princess Storybook Breakfast: 12/1 or 12/5 (any time)
Whispering Canyon Cafe: 12/1 (before 6:00); 12/3 or 12/4 (both before 7:00)
'Ohana Dinner: 12/4 (before 7:00)
CRT Dinner: 12/3 (before 7:00)

If anyone can help I would GREATLY appreciate it--as would all the kind folks at Disney Dining (whom I've spoken with twice this morning and it's only 8:30!--there must be some kind of 12-step group for Disney Dining Obsessed Anonymous!)

OMG! I don't mean to laugh but I am...that is hilarious! I thought changing my ressie info 4 different times (switching hotels, adding guests, getting discounts) with them each time messing up my ressie was bad!

Thanks for the morning chuckle ;) Hope you get what you want in the end!
