I was able to get every ADR that I wanted, including CRT! Also made my daughter's BBB appt too! I could have sworn that last year when I did this that the BBB was a seperate # than the ADR's....oh well, all taken care of now!
I'm happy about it because we generally plan closer to travel date and with that 180 window we never had a chance. This year I think we'll get into some that we have skipped in the past. Really how can you decide what you want to eat 6 months from now- I don't even know what's for breakfast today.
I actually thought the same thing. I think that it has leveled the playing field a bit. I just booked our trip for August, so now I just have to wait until May gets here to get on the phone!

Why? Beacuse I normally do not plan our vacations 180 days out. I just booked a May trip at AKL a couple of weeks ago. This past Saturday was my 90 day mark.
I live in CA so I woke up at 3:50am to get on the phone with Disney when they opened. 4am for me - 7am for them.
I was able to get all the ADRs I wanted and at the times I wanted (including Le Cellier & BBB). It was interesting to note that my last confirmation number was 281 numbers higher than my first! Thats a lot of ADRs in a 15 minute period!
I agree. We just about never book our trips that far out. So, by the time we make our room reservation, the hard to book restaurants are fully booked. This definitely works for us
I'm happy with the change as the past two years we have been at Disney every six months (literally to the day), which required me to be on the phone making future ADRs. Really it was the last thing I wanted to do on vacation .
I'm a planner. It's just who I am. So, we have our December cruise booked. I'm about to book our 3 night Park stay for afterward, and I have *already* got my 'wishlist' of ADR's ready (right down to times)!
Oh well, I've got the date marked in bold on my calendar. I'll have to cross my fingers and hope for the best!
I haven't been here in a while and am really glad to see they switched the ADRs to 90 days. I was beginning to panic about trying to plan for our October trip already.
My husband and I have stable employment, but I don't think everyone does. What looks possible 180 days out is not necessarily doable as the vacation draws closer. Planning is essential, however, the financial climate right now makes it difficult to plan too far in advance(IMHO).
I think it will be better for people planning for the party nights. For MNNSHP, I can now buy my tickets on a certain night and then make a dining reservation without worrying about sell outs. Although it may be more difficult to get the ressies now, I am still pleased with the 90 days.
First time ADRers here, and did great with the 90 days as well.
We got everything we wanted for party of two (had read that table for 2 was a bit harder to get) and got first choices on times as well.
