That's awesome!!! :woohoo: Just so I'm sure what I'm ordering, the $75 ticket gets us 5 days of unlimited park hopping between the parks, correct? How does this pass differ from the $99 pass? Thanks :teeth:

That's how I read it. I've picked up 2 for the parents who'll be joining us for our trip in October. I don't think that there is a difference between the $75, $85 and $99 rate. Pretty confusing why Universal would have 3 different prices for the same ticket type.

I ordered ours. :cheer2: I'm so glad I was procrastinating on ordering them. With electronic ticketing, I saw no reason to hurry. :cool1:

With the lower price, everyone gets some kind of deal. Those of us with kids, who are no longer considered kids, weren't benefitting from the other deal at all. Let's hope these tickets are what we're expecting. If not, hopefully we'll be able to trade them for the others. :wizard:

patster734,
Thanks for posting the price drop & the links. :wave2:

Now I see it after looking at the "Ticket Details":

FREE access to select live entertainment venues* at Universal’s CityWalk entertainment complex.
This offer is only available online and is not available at the front gate or either theme park.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

Ticket expires four (4) days after first day of use.
Photo ID must be presented at front gate turnstile.

Limit of six (6) tickets per purchase.

I talked with the Online Ticket Office last night and was told that this is a special that varies in rate ($75, $85, $95) and will only come up on certain hits. I saw the $85 rate yesterday and last night could never get it back. When I called Universal initially, the lady I spoke with checked online and got the $75 rate but could not sell it to me since it was an "online only" rate. I am still trying! :cloud9:

If thats true, it just seems WRONG to do to people

Just started monitoring this board again as we are thinking of visiting Universal again in April '07. Would it make sense to jump on this "Universal Excitement" ticket now? Does it expire at year end? Or do you think something similar will be offered again closer to April??

According to a post by lovemygoofy on another thread, the passes expire Dec 31.

Hi, I've never posted on this board. I also called the online ticket office with questions about how this would work. He specifically told me that if any tickets held over for electronic delivery would expire Dec 31 of this year with no refund. The way it was explained to me was that upon order confirmation I would receive a "pin code" that I would use at the kiosk upfront at the park. At the kiosk I would use the cc I paid with and type in my pin code. Sort of like when you get your tickets at the airport, for those who have done that. If it saves you more money, think about calling to see if you could have the fedex option for $15 if they don't expire this year. The universal man told me that this was a limited time offer to see how well it does. I hope this helped.
