what do you guys think?

I made an ADR for CP at 9:25....obviously we're not going to get out of there in 5 minutes to charge all of the popular rides...

should i change my ADR so we can ride first?

we do have an "extra" day that we have nothing planned so we can go back to do something we missed. I'm just afraid we're going to sleep in that day and it'll put us back in the same situation (long lines, far far away FP returns, etc.)

ugh, i've been reading here for months and feel like a bonehead that i JUST realized this, a week and a half before we leave.

TIA for the advice!!

Did you ever hear of the saying "Go w/ your first instinct?". I say stick w/ the CP for your dining. You have that extra day like you said and you can always go back. If you missed something that you really want to go back for I think you will. I dont think you made a boo boo... Keep it like you have it and for any reason you feel like changing it, change it while you are there. :) GL and have a great time. (oh and by the way... gl and congrats on the new egg hatching!! :) )

If you really want to ride the rides that day- you are better off riding them in the morning - Florida schools are out now and you may run into crowds. (I've never been in June so I don't know what the crowds will be-) If you have your heart set on breakfast at the CP call and see what they can do. I always like to have a late lunch or early dinner there.

Have a great trip!! :cheer2:

What does "5 minutes" mean?

The park will be normally open at 9am.

If you try to eat at 9:25am you'll basically lose all of the first hour of the park (and MORE) and that's the best time to ride ANYTHING.

If you can't get a ressie an hour before opening time (be careful of EMH times too), then skip the CP for breakfast and just grab a roll or something that day and try for a "real meal" later in the day.

We know how important the first hour or two of the morning can be... we don't ever schedule a "sit-down" breakfast unless its very early before the park opens (any park).

OTOH, if you want to keep the CP ressies and use that "extra" day you spoke of... don't sleep-in on the "second-chance" day.
That would mean you'd lose on BOTH days.

I'd change it. Either go very early or save your ADR for around noon when it is getting crowded and you are ready for a rest and A/C. If you want breakfast be sure and take the last breakfast ADR for the day. Have fun!

i was just done there last week and the parks where not that crowded stick with what you have and go with the flow. you will still be able to fast pass the rides and some of the rides will not have long waits its right before 4th of july that things start to really pick up. I was there for the holiday last week and the longs line was 45 min for test track
