I really don't know what I was thinking...:confused3

I made all my ADR's at the 180 day mark and it's only been in the last few weeks that I've realized that I made my departure ADR for Chef Mickey's at the wrong time. Our flight leaves at 3:30 and we are using ME so I assume we will leave at approximately 12:30 from the hotel. I made a 10:35 Chef Mickey's ADR. That's cutting it pretty close timewise, isn't it?

I've been checking every day, several times a day, for weeks -- but there is nothing available.

It sounds like it would be pretty tight if you showed up at 10:35. You could always try showing up early and seeing if they can seat you early. I wouldn't bet on it, but you read stories all the time how people show up 45 min ahead of schedule and get seated. Besides- Disney is the first to admit that an ADR is not like a true reservation...so, timing isn't exactly set in stone. Good luck! :goodvibes

Your bus will come at 12:30 plus or minus 15 minutes. This means your pick up time could be closer to 12:15 if that is the best way for them to schedule it. You must be at the bus stop ready to go 15 minutes before the scheduled time. So, if your pick up is 12:12, then you have to be at the stop by 12. This means that you will already have had to check your luggage (if using RAC) and pick up your carry-ons with bell services (if you stored them there) The scheduled time is the time the bus is to LEAVE the resort, not arrive.

An hour and a half (10:30-12:00) is no where NEAR enough time to travel to CM's, eat, and then travel back to your resort to meet your bus... and that's even if you would be seated on time! I would plan something else and just keep trying for an earlier seating. I would not count on walking up earlier unless you get there at opening.

That's what I figured...not enough time. Oh well -- we'll just keep trying for an earlier time or else have a leisurely morning at our resort before we leave.

I'm sorry! I know how much it stinks to get excited about something just to have it not work out the way you wanted. Luckily, you noticed it NOW and not the morning of! Just keep checking online as often as you can. I will keep my fingers crossed that something opens up (I would aim for 9:30ish or earlier personally)!

and you could always have a nice leisurely breakfast at your hotel...Grand Flor Cafe is good, too. No characters, but relaxing way to eat breakfast before traveling.

Start first thing in the morning (6am online, 7am on the phone). Work on getting the most difficult reservations first (character meals, Ohana, Le Cellier, ect). You may have to adjust some of your times and be a bit flexible if you want any of the harder to get reservations. Otherwise, you should be fine.
