I think I made the DIS boards proud tonight

To make a long story short, I finally decided I should go ahead and book a mid-September Disney trip. The second I was off the phone after booking my reservation I was online planning out my ADRs.

To complicate matters, I had 6 nights in Disney and I had no idea of any sort of park day plan (I think we are skipping park hoppers this time and getting water park fun and more instead).

So in less than half an hour I had coordinated a vacation schedule that was dependent on EMH, Fantasmic showings, MNSSHP and park hours. I had picked out 6 table restaurants I wanted to make reservations at and I booked 5 of those.

I don't think I could have ever done that so quickly save the years of advanced trip planning studying that I had undertaken on the DIS boards.

Also, something weird I noticed, I was able to get a Thursday night Ohana dinner reservation on my first try, but could not find availability for dinner at 1900 Park Faire for any evening, odd.

How fun! I've never been able to plan a spontaneous trip. I hope to someday, tho. Glad you got dining you wated, too. I'm also going mid Sept. I just changed a few ADRs this week. Noticed lots of times availabe at some restaurants( not the most popular places, of course). Hope this means crowds won't be too bad! ;)

have a great vacation! :)

Great job! Just a quick tip though.....If you want to avoid some crowds stay away from the parks that offer the Magic Hours on each day. Obviously if you're really gonna take advantage of the extra hours just ignore my comment! Hah! Have a great trip regardless.
