we will be paying oop for CRT and Primetime maybe ohanas I will have to look at menus and cost. if it weren't for free dinning we probably wouldn't have had the opportunity to eat at most of these places. our party consists of myself, dh, dd16,ds14,dd4,ds2
is this tooo many?? Will we go crazy trying to make all these ADRS? I am just not sure of which I should cancel. :confused3

I would stick with the character meals. It beats wasting time standing in line to see the characters later, and you have to eat anyways. Do both at the same time! princess:

I'm in the same boat with 4 possibly 5 character meals scheduled in the 9 days we're there. For me, it's all about entertaining the little ones while we eat, so as crazy as the character meals are, they're relaxing in that respect. Plus it does save us the trouble of seeking out and waiting in line to meet the characters in the parks.

You can't have too many character meals. It beats waiting in line to meet the characters in the parks!

You have a tough age split--the teens who probably don't care about characters and the little ones who want them.

For the younger crowd, the character meals are great. For the older ones, there is better food to be had without characters. Prime time is a lot of fun. We liked the fun at WCC, but not the food.

I think you have a nice blend to satisfy everyone--Coral Reef should work for all, same for 50s Prime Time. The big ones may enjoy the characters more than they'd let on. You might consider allowing the teens to go somewhere on their own instead of one of the character things (maybe JoJo).

In terms of costs, the best things to pay OOP are the character breakfasts (for one TS), CRT, and other 2 TS. Look carefully--if a 2 TS is costing less than about $70 per adult, it isn't a good value for 2 TS.

I booked 6 CM's and have other ressies for our trip in August . I figure if it's hot I'd much rather be indoors and have the characters come to us then have to wait in line out doors with 2 kids! :sunny:

We booked 6 for our 5 night stay in December...it's my nieces' first trip (they'll be 4) and I just couldn't decide which ones to cut out...so I didn't :rotfl:

We always have that many meals planned. My children just love the character meals and for us they are just another part of Disney. Can't get character dining around here, lol. But, we also wait in line to see the characters. My dd's would just go character hunting all day, which we have done too, while my dh take's ds on rides!! Anyway, your ADR's sound great to me.
