For the past two years we have been spending a week in Nov at DL and having a wonderful time. Last Nov we went with my brother and his family and we had the time of our lives, so when we were leaving the park for the last time my husband said "Okay, How about we wait 5 years before we come back, that way there will be some changes!" At that moment my feet hurt, I was fearing I would not be able to pack our suitcases for the flight home I said "OKAY" But after we arrived home I began to think about what I said. That was5 months ago. Well two months ago I started thinking about DL, I have been reading posts and telling my Husband about them, then last week I remembered we got a 50th Anniversary CD on one of our recent trips so I started playing it, well yesterday I talked to my brother and he said they are saving for their next DL trip. I told my husband and turned the cd up a bit louder. Well, my husband said "If we end up moving this summer, then we will be closer to DL and maybe just maybe we can go to DL next November!"

Ha ha!!! I did it, I broke my husband, he is now talking about November 2008 for another trip to DL!!!!!!!!! Whoowee!!!! YIppee!!!!!! :cool1: And since I am one of the world's best over planner, I just might be able to get the dream vacation planned and booked as well as pack the house and move the family! It is a challenge but I am up to it!!!!!!

Good job! Yes, husbands can be broken.:lmao: Everytime I mention another Disney trip, my DH just shakes his head. So, I plan and plan and tell him, "Only 8 more months....only 7 more months..." When we get there he has a wonderful time. After our trips, he always suggests we wait a few years, but I can't do that. I have to go at least once a year. But all the planning pays off. Last year we got the free dining at WDW. This year we are using a special code for savings at the GC.

Lol the way my life has been going I end up going twice a year.

Thats how my current trip got planned, I was looking at this board and decided that I wanted to go to Disneyland.

This board puts ideas in my head. :sad2:

I think Mickey heard you!

This board definitely puts ideas in my head! Everytime I mention a Disney my trip, my DH suggests that I just stop reading the Disney boards.

I had to break my dh a long time ago! :lmao: He tried and tried to convince me to do "other" vacations. But he has come to realize that we WILL go to DL at least once every 12 months. It's my obsession, my happiness. . .. and you know what they say about "If Momma ain't happy. . . " :dance3:

My DH always says...."you were not this obsessed until you became additcted to the Diz Boards!". And he is right! But, I feel good about my love for DL and it is a healthy addiction.:cutie: That is why I go so often;)

I'm :rotfl2: because I didn't pay attention to the OP's screen name when I read this sign. Just thought maybe there was a chocolate tasting event or something. :lmao:

That sign is so cool, I am going to tell my husband we can't disappoint Mickey we have to be there in Nov 08

My husband became broken shortly after our marriage. I figured out how to fix him. On odd numbered years we go on a WDW vacation, where he is allowed to play golf everyday, he meets up with us in the evenings for dinner and a little while in the parks. On even numbered years he picks the vacation spot, which is normally a cruise, where again he plays golf on port days and DD and I go to the beach.

So I still get my Disney fix and he gets a golf vacation! So in IMHO it is a win-win for us!
