I think I got unactivated gift cards from Target.com

When I enter the account numbers into the 'Check your Disney gift card balance" site, I get an error message that I need to enter valid gift card numbers. I am entering the account number and the scratch-off security code.

How do I get this fixed? Thanks!

Looks like some other people are complaining of this same thing happening to them on Target.com. Read the Disney gift card reviews. Good luck and keep us posted .

make sure you scratched off the last four digits of the account number that are just to the left of the security code. I have missed those before.

I would call the Target CS number to get it fixed.

eta: just checked the six I got last week from target.com and they are all active.

I didn't see them at 1st either and started freaking out But, I got 50 gift cards 2 weeks ago and had no problems with any once I figured that out

I am one of the folks who had contributed to a thread awhile aback about this. I ended up with $500 worth un activiated. Nightmare..I had purchased online, so they just came chunked into a bag with really no receipt showing the numbers, etc. I had to deal with many, many....many frustrating calls to India, hours wasted, then a try at activating, then that not working, then calling Disney to research and then back to target, etc. After months of this I was finally able to get all but $150 activated, after which even Target gave up and credited my account. Speaking of which I think I may still have a $25 e gift card they sent me since it was such a nightmare. I guess this is easier to fix if you purchase in store since you have a receipt with the numbers, but I vowed to never again buy gift cards from Target. The little savings really wasn't worth it to me in the end.

I bought 20 gift cards at Super Fresh last christmas and what with being so busy I never checked the receipt. After giving them as gifts, found out half were not activated. Luckly I save all receipts and was able to get the store to fix the problem. Lesson learned "always check receipt to be sure they are activated"

Oh my! Reading about your experience with this just makes my head hurt! That is exactly what I was dreading. It did work out for me but I have more on the way that I ordered after my first order. It makes me nervous and question if the savings is really worth all that. I'm a sucker for a good deal though
