I was on the Disney website last night pricing out and messing around with August 2014 dates and today I got an email from Disney Destinations summarizing one of the dummy bookings I was messing around with and at the end it says, make sure to mention package code *** (3 letter code) when booking. Is this a discount code??? I don't want to call and get disappointed, lol! I've gotten regular PIN codes before but always when we couldn't use them. I've never seen a code that was just 3 letters. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!!!

I'm almost positive that's just a rack rate "package" code. No savings.... Not sure why they feel the need to get us all excited and then we find out it's nothing.....

Boo! if that's the case! I'm not booking until a discount of some sort comes out. I guess I'm gonna call and see what they say. I just got excited because some people were posting about PINs that include dates in August! Darn it! I'll see what I can find out.

Sorry, you aren't being offered a discount. In this case the three-character code is tied to a regular-price offer/package. A PIN will be 16 digits.

Sorry, that's disappointing. That happened to me before too. A PIN discount is a lot of numbers such as the ones you've received before. The three letter code usually isn't anything.

3 letter codes can be a general public offer, or absolutely nothing.
