I'm not sure, but I blocked an access to my computer through Norton. Now I can't get anywhere but here, any suggestions.

What else do you really need anyway? Oh Geez, I just forgort I came down here to get a phone number to call another mom OOPS!

I've got windows xp pro now and Norton internet security.

A norton window popped up and said that someone was trying to access my computer. I didn't recognize it and blocked it. Now I can't get anywhere else but here. It says it can't find the server.
You know, if I had a clue to what I was doing, I'd be dangerous.

There's other places????

 I know, it's crazy, but there is.

can you take Norton off your computer

I disabled Norton and the "can't find server" or "can't find page" was still coming up.
I found a page in norton that might help, but I haven't been able to find it again.

I hadn't thought of uninstalling norton. I'll try that tomorrow. If that doesn't work I'll call Road Runner.

Can you access your main Norton Internet Security?

If you can access Norton, try disabling it first and see if you can visit other sites without having Norton on. If you can, you need to go and change your options or security level. Maybe it's set too high and is blocking everything.

You can also go in and look at the one that it blocked by the log, and enable that site again. But I would only do this if you are sure you know it's safe to give access to whatever is trying to access your computer (most likely a cookie).

Sometimes some Windows updates or other automatic updates interferes with Norton's operations as well. When you're installing new programs or downloading somethings, it's sometimes better to disable virus protection and internet protection before installation.

Hope it works. I can't walk you through it right now cause my Norton is acting up and I've disabled it myself.

Thanks, I'll try it again.
