I think I might have figured out what the announcement/new deal will be. They commercials keep saying, "What would you do if you had one more day?" I think that they will add an extra day to your vacation package. Like if you buy 4 days, you get 5. One more day to make memories...that's what they've been saying!

That would make sense. Not going to do much for us DVC members though if that is the case.

I'm already booked for September with free dining, so that won't do much for me, unless they let me keep the dining, as well as giving me the extra day.
(no way I'll give up $300 worth of dining to get one day at the hotel, and an $8 extension on our tickets)

I bet you're right! We're booked with free dining and 6 days in March! Can't wait! :cool1:

I doubt it. A lot of people book way ahead of time, I booked my February 2012 vacation back in August and had purchased my airline tickets back in May.
If they offered me an extra day at this point, there's not much I could do, airline tickets have been issued, there would be change fees.
But then again, they might not care about those of us who have already booked, they're trying to get more people, not keep the ones they already have.

After seeing all the commercials about what would you do with an extra day, I was thinking this same thing. We really can't add a day to our trip either. But, IF this was the promotion, do you think you could just take your last day of the trip off of your package, and then add it back with the promotion? Or do you think they would offer something else if you couldn't get the extra day (didn't they do that with birthday promo ~ let you choose from a free day ticket, some type of fastpass or a gift card in the amount of a ticket)?

An extra day makes sense - it's by far the best cost incentive for Disney, as once you get past the initial few days on your pass, that extra day will most likely just be $10-30 dollars more. Yet, staying an extra day means more money spent for food and other stuff in the parks.

It does stink that it's another thing that we DVC and AP holders can't participate in. But, they want to entice people to come and stay. They already have us. ;)

When does everyone think the next promotion will be? The CS told me they do them quarterly, so does that mean Jan?

If this is the deal, it just doesn't make any sense to me since they have been running the 4 for 3 deal off and on for the last 2 years.
