I called WDW Dining this morning to make my ADR's while at the office. What was suppose to be something easy going turned into a streesed out situation. My boss is off every Monday as I am every Friday and this morning was to be my opportunity to come in and make my ADR's without having to worry about her knowing how long I was on a personal call. Serves me right for calling during working hours but my 90 day window opened up today and you guys know how cut throat getting the ADR's you want is, so have some pitty on me. Well, I walk in and I see the light on in her office! I proceeded with my plan in hopes that I wouldn't be on that long. They did have me on hold for about 5mins(pretty good considering) however, the CM I spoke with was slow as the day is long and was hacking in the phone to boot. I just wanted to yell "speed it up will ya". I remained calm and made all but one of my ADR's; we'll be there on Mother's Day and I haven't figured out where I want to dine for dinner so once I figure that I this afternoonn I figure I could call and make that one at home before dinner.
I was able to get everything BUT my Fantasmic Package at Mamma Melrose, she did inform me that she had an availability at HV but I quickly said "no thanks" to that one and chose an early dinner at Sci-Fi Drive-In; I know the kids will love the atmosphere and if everything goes smoothly (we get seated on time and what-not) then we should be okay for the 8:30 showing of Fantasmic. If something starts to unravel during dinner I'll have my BFF and DSis leave dinner early to get in line for seats for the show while my husband and I stay with the kids and finish up pay the bill.
All in all I'm very please with my undercover phone call this morning.
