I was determined to eat only low carb foods this trip to the world. I made it and ate quite well and too much.
Here's my rundown.
First night I bought a rotiserrie chicken from publix (never finished the whole thing even though I had a fridge in the room).
Breakfasts were atkins shakes and bars except one morning at Golden Corral where I had eggs, bacon and sausage.
Lunch at MGM BackLot counter service. Some kind of sesame chicken salad. I picked off the mandarin oranges and the chinese noodles. But did not enjoy the salad because it was made with plain iceberg lettuce.
Supper at Hollywood & Vine buffet. Great prime rib. Also had shrimp, ceasar salad, salmon, baked chicken.
MK lunch at Pecos Bills. Got a cheese burger, discarded the bun (all the cheese stuck on the bun so I might as well have had it without). Filled the paper tray with grilled mushrooms, grilled onions and lettuce from the fixins bar.
MK supper was a turkey leg. In between was a scoop of sugar free ice cream from main street.
Animal Kingdom lunch at Flame tree barbeque. I ordered the ribs without any sides. It was about $1.50 cheaper that way and it was a big slab of ribs.
At Epcot I got a sugar free cheesecake (yum) at the coffee shop in future world.
Supper that day was off site at Angels Lobster & Seafood buffet. Don't bother with that place. The lobster was tough, I've had better crablegs at my hometown chinese buffet but the prime rib was good.
Epcot lunch was a chicken ceasar salad at the Sunshine food fair in the Land.
Had a sugar free chocolate moose at Norway (yum). For supper it was a cheese plate from the bakery in France (didn't eat the fruit or the bread).
I ate well, probably too much, but I stuck to my diet.
