Just back. Rented a total of 3 cars for our group. All without a hitch. Selection was light, not much more than full size on the aisle on 4 different occasions. We had a Camry, Monte Carlo and Buick something. All three had out of state plates. Prices quoted were charged. Only paid $1.19 per gallon for refill, still a breeze, still a pleasure!

yep, they were clean in and out. The Camry either had, or my kids broke, the rear cup holder, but that was it.

We had another good experience last week. Unfortunately no minvans on the aisle like we got in October. We had a Buick Century that was nice and clean. At $162 for 9 days it was a great deal. No problems in or out, the EC service works well.

I reserverved a full size online and it said that I need to check in at the counter (with Emerald Isle). I called National and asked them about this and they said that if you reserve a full size or higher you need to go to the counter.

since the people that have been reserving mid size, etc can get a full size if there. Are the people who reserve a full size guaranteed to get one? We have to have a full size because my husband is over 6 ft tall and can't take a chance on not finding one.

If you reserve a full size, that is what you are guaranteed. As for going to the counter...Are you an EC member? Do they have current cc on file? Do they have a signed master rental agreement on file?

Yes I am an EC member. Yes, I they have a current cc on fiel. I never received anything to sign. I haven't received my card yet either. I signed up 1 month ago and just called them to let them know that I haven't received the card. They said they would send another one out.

I reserved a full size and didn't have to go to the counter. Didn't have a problem. I got a Grand Prix. What a fun car to drive, really moved. Speed limit on I95 in parts of Florida is 70. I had to drop it at the Car Care Center at the MK. Had no problem, it was quick in and out. Wanted to be dropped at the MK but only Disney buses can go there so was dropped at the Contemporary and took the monorail over.

We also just had a good rental with National EA. We rented a full size for 8 days, got a Buick Century and the total bill including a full tank of gas was $158.75. The base was $120.00.
When we got to the EA around 5PM on Tuesday 11/27 there were only two cars and no vans in the EA lot. We asked the attendant and he said that we should just wait there and they would bring a Buick Century around for us. I did see three convertables check out in front of us, but I wanted a comfortable car with electric seats.
When we returned the car on Wednesday 12/5, there was a hugh line and no more room in the aisle for us to pull up. We just waited a bit, but people were just leaving their cars and running to the main terminal. It only took 8 minutes for the jam to break up, and we were charged exactly what I expected. I would use them again.
