I posted a few months ago about going to the Christmas Spectacular at Radio City with my son. My DH and I usually take off on his birthday which is November 20th and do something fun. This year I thought about going to see the show, but I am getting mixed reviews from people here at work, etc. I am even thinking of if we stay overnight up there. I think he would love the big Disney Store and FAO Schwartz...but I just don't know about the show. I would probably want to get close seats so he could see, but I would hate to spend the $$$ only to have him getting antsy.

Can anyone help!!??

I'm not sure if I responded to your (or someone else's) original post about the show, but we have been to it many, many times and I would recommend it wholeheartedly. It is a beautiful, awe-inspiring show and I'm not sure why you're hearing mixed reviews. You didn't mention how old your son is, but I've been taking my 2 since they were toddlers (now 13 and 15) and they have always been able to sit through it. I would take him. I think your whole family will enjoy it.

Ooops, forgot to mention that he will be 4 on November 20th

Thanks!

We went last year and my girls (then 6,8,10) enjoyed it. You should go to the official website and register. Last year they sent me a 1/2 price offer for off-peak times.

Don't miss the Times Square Toys R Us while you're in NYC!

WOW that sounds great, I did just go and register. About how long after you registered did they send you the 1/2 off offer? And was it only select seats or all tickets? That would be great!! Oh and seeing the TRU would definatley be on the list;)

My son has ADHD so he can't sit still worth anything BUT we took him to see the Rockettes here in MI & not only did he sit still, but his mouth & eyes were wide open the whole time! He was 4 when we took him. I'm sure it will be fine! What a great experience for a young child!
