I should probably know this but... Min purchase for BLT?

We just bought a "foot in the door" contract (25 pts at SSR) and are planning on gradually building up when possible to avoid financing. Is the minimum purchase for BLT (for members) 25 points or is it higher? I wasn't sure because it is new and thought I read that it was higher.

I guess it is still 25 and will up to 100 on Jan 15

OK, so you can buy 25 now but after Jan you have to buy at least 100? Yikes, that's quite a hike!

Presently you may purchase BLT add-on for minimum of 25 points ( 50 points is minimum if you want Disney's financing).

Yes it will soon be higher - On Jan 15 2009 add-on minimum is definitely increasing to 100 points for BLT and you probably will want to read the following thread if you were thinking of perhaps doing an add-on at any other DVC resort because it seems that some guides have let the word out that add-ons for all DVC resorts will increase to 100 point minimum purchase on January 15 as well

Ack, thanks for the news! It looks like resale will be our only add on option for a while because I know I won't be able to wait long enough to save over $10K!
