My 40th bday trip is Apr 15-19 for myself, hubby, 3 kids. My BIL and his friend are meeting us there to watch the kids while hubby and i have 1 dinner out without kids and a lunch with an imagineer. We have booked flight to MCO, but i've been waiting for the return flight incase it get cheaper (which it isn't) Today I looked into departing on another day, Flying out 2 days later would save us $500.00! Hubby has to leave Sunday for work, but if i stay 2 extra nights with the kids, we would still save $400. We are getting AP's so that won't factor in at all. Hubby is all for it and I've done Disney alone with just the kids before. I'm so excited thinking about it. What do you all think. Should i go for it and leave my poor hubby by his lonesome on the plane back and at home for 2 days?

I think that you should totally do that plan! Save the $400 (even if you spent that in food for the extra 2 days you would still be breaking even) and get the extra nights at WDW. As you mentioned, you have AP's so that's no extra cost. What a fabulous opportunity for some 'mommy and kids' time for you. I can't believe that I have 2 teenagers now and miss those days of them being younger (according to your signature your children are still in elementary school). You may not get an opportunity to do this again when they are in high school or have after school jobs.
My vote is ... DO IT:-) :goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes Have fun:wave:

I would definitely go for it. I just added some days onto our October trip so DD(6) and I will be at Disney for 8 days. DH has zero interest in anything even remotely related to Disney :confused3so he stays home with the dog :thumbsup2
