I sent/recieved my Ornament Exchange

My mom rec'd her exchange but I originally posted from the wrong person. (They both had ornaments, so we were confused) Her correct ornament pkg is from taterbug's roommate!!
She rec'd:
pair of holiday socks
2 Beautiful ornaments, 1 was a Pewter Peace dove and the other was a Dark Red glass ornament with flocking on it.
set of 3 Burts Bees lotions (her favorite)
a light-up snowman pen (had to hid from my kids)

She loved everything you sent and says thank you very much!! The ornaments are already on our tree and they look wonderful!!

I got mail today from Sarah_Carter!! It was a beautiful cross and a cute candy cane ornament in a christmas bowl with a lid and a cute snowman picture frame. Wow!! Thanks again Sarah! I hope that you have a wonderful holiday season!

I am VERY embarrased to say that my ornament came back to me today, because I put my City, State and Zip in the address instead of the person it is going to. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

Anyways, it is back on it's way and I am really SORRY to the person it is going to.

I just wanted to say a very, very big thank you to Patty, aka Poohbr615!!! I got the most wonderful box today. I just LOVE everything in it!!! The box is gorgeous, I just love everything in it!!! The ornaments were beautiful, and the socks so, so cute!!! And all the little touches were wonderful. I loved seeing the post cards so I could see where you live!!! I'm confuddled, my exchangee should have received by now as I posted on the same day as my 'H' and that got there a few days ago now.... actually tho', no sign of my 'G' on your side of the pond yet either is there and all three went off together!

Thanks to Momof2OH (Gina)!!! Wow did I hit the jackpot!!

I got....a bell cookie cutter, country christmas notes that say We Love Santa just beclaus!!!!, some stickers and 4 ornaments!!!

A gingerbread boy ornament, a glass ornamnet with a picture of a teddy bear, dool and train on it, an authentic ornament from historic Harourtown (I am assuming it is in Ohio!) and lastly a white Mickey shaped ornament with lime green writing that says Happy Holidays, The DIS exchange 2003!!!

For she was the lovely DISer who sent me my ornament exchange which I received today! I'm afraid to say it was very battered but everything was intact - hurrah!!

Em kindly sent a cute cute cute (ad infinitum!) snowman ornament who is currently festivating (yes, I made the word up) my kitchen windowsill :0)

Em also included a huge bag of mini Oreos (see my thread on the G exchange for why this really cheered up my day! (short version, Im an oreo fanatic and got some in my G/D exchange from Momsal too - )

Em also sent along a POC topper! It's so great, really made me smile

Thanks a lot Em, the snowman will be kept safe in his box between Xmas each year and brought out to remind me of the DIS Holiday Ornament Exchange 2003!

DD received her ornaments today! She was sooooooo happy! One was cows sledding and the other was a snowman with a penquin on an ice cube. They are so cute. I barely got to look at them 'cause she took off for the tree! The best part was when she saw the Tigger Stickers! Unfortunately I was standing too close to her and boy are my ears still buzzing!

She says to say "Thanks Sara!"

Thank you Gaspode!! The British Telephone Box is just the cutest!!! And you know the sad part, the first thing I thought of when I saw it was the Telephone Box sitting outside of the Pub in World Showcase!!!! It is really cool. I love the stickers and stamps, and hubby went crazy over the chocolate!!! Thank you so much!!!! Hope you have the happiest of Holidays!!!!

Got mine yesterday...actually it arrived on Monday but my mother-in-law forget to tell me (she lives downstairs, and most of our packages end up with her because we're usually not home when they come).

I got the cutest glass snowman ornament...mercury glass?...I just love that style! The colors are so festive! And thanks go to...... ok, the box is at home so memory don't fail me now....jazyjewel confused: I hope I got it right) I do know it was from South Carolina - the memory isn't totally gone. Thanks so much, I love it!

And "You're Welcome" to sandygirl who's name I had and who posted a few days ago. Chocolates always seem to be a big hit We went to Hershey a couple weeks ago and I was determined to do ornament shopping there, but we got hit by 2 snowstorms and it curtailed our activities quite a bit! so I had to compromise a bit.
