Finally had time to go through the mail to day and I had one of my magnet packages to arrive.

Thank you "tigercat" for the wonderful magnets, pencil and postcard from Canada. The postcard was beautiful, can't imagine living so close to something so wonderful. Thanks again!

An Exchange Board, I don't know. Would we get the turnover that we get here on the CB? A lot of newbies that lurk here might not even give an exchange board a look. I know that when I first got on the DIS it was a year before I even ventured to the CB. Just a thought.......

But if one was created, I would definately be there. I'm an exchangeaholic.

Definitely a good point Kirby... we could promote it on the CB... and perhaps they would let us have it on top of the CB, like the birthday board? that way ppl wouldn't miss it!

I've posted this on the other threads too......but I think I might be in the minority. I don't think a separate board is a good idea.
There aren't enough exchanges to warrant a board for it.......this is an unusual situation.....there aren't usually this many exchanges going on....sometimes NONE.

I don't think it is that hard to scan down and find the thread you're looking for.........heck, I do it all the time

Should there be an animal board?
a joke board? A bad day board?
Just examples of other things that have a lot of threads, but don't really warrant a separate board.
That's what makes a community....a little this, a little that.

I am off for a months vacation! Just wanted to let the folks who I sent to and who sent to me know in case they try to contact me or post here for me that I won't see it until late July.

I did receive one package (thanks again Marsha), so I will have another one to look forward to upon my return.

Hiya,

Today I received my two packages (and my bookmark one too! See the thread ).

One was from Oddball27 aka Ashton and contained some fantastically cute magnets, including one of my favourite thing - a rainbow Thanks!!

The second was from KimRaye aka Kimberly and contained a variety of great magnets, some chicago postcards and some YCs Thanks!!

So now I am working on my notepad/notecard packages to try and send off today and then I'm all set for our holidays and to come home to more wonderful gifts no doubt - everyone is so generous and great, no wonder I'm already an exchange-a-holic!!
