I'm not a huge fan of country music, but I do adore Willie Nelson. I think I would have been too starstruck to have said anything to him either!
I've run into a host of celebrities in my lifetime. I met Dustin Hoffman in New York, he was eating dinner at a restaurant in Little Italy that my husband, sister and I were also eating in. I ran over to him to see if it was him, and he was VERY gracious, considering he was eating and he had this strange woman staring at him with her mouth hanging open.

My sister made a fool of herself by telling him she admired his work in "Scarface", confusing him with Al Pacino, LOL.
Arnold Schwarznegger (sp?) and Maria Shriver and their kids and MIL (a Kennedy) were in line behind me at the grocery store here in D.C. He is much smaller than he appears on screen, and she is much prettier than she appears on TV. They were also very nice.
Lets see, I've also met Donny Osmond (very nice gentleman), Cher & Tom Cruise (they were dating once for about a minute, years ago - he is very short in person, she is just, ummmm, Cher!), Warren Beatty and Annette Benning (they were at a political fundraiser that I was also at - very "normal" acting, talking about their kids), the figure skaters Scott Hamilton, Katerine Witt and Kristi Yamaguchi (Scott very nice, Katerina nice, Kristi not so nice).
But my biggest star trip is John F. Kennedy, Jr., who was a patron in a sports bar I used to work at in NYC. He would come in for bottled water or juice, usually in his rollerblades. He was positively the most handsome man I have ever laid eyes on, and just as much a gentleman. Plus he was a great tipper!

I was so sad when he died, because I felt like I "knew" him, even though we only exchanged a few words over the ten times or so he was in the sports bar.
