I Saw United 93.

I went to the 9:45 showing. I thought the theater would be paced on opening weekeknd. The Theater was less than half full.

My husband and I were 2 of maybe 10 people at the 1:30 matinee.

I will see it eventually, probably in the privacy of my own home. When I saw the preview for this move, we were at a theater in Battery Park City and had just taken the PATH train in through where the towers once stood. I was already reeling from hearing a tourist say how "anti-climatic" ground zero was. When the trailer came on I had tears in my eyes. I just don't think I am ready.

I wonder if they'd feel the same if there was a huge hole in their own home town, and thousands of people dead?? Yes, I know...it's been 5 years, but to use the words "anti-climactic" are insensitive and just downright infuriating. Some people are hopeless clods.
