I posted this on another board but I figured that people here would also like to read this:

I was in the single riders line at Everest around 10 am this morning and I saw a couple of CMs wearing white pants, a light blue shirt and a white vest carrying a huge duffle bag walking towards the loading area.

A couple of minutes later I saw a few families (about 15 people total) carrying a large piece of plastic with a silver string, one of those families ended up next to me. They had each received a "Dream Pass" which was a plastic card about the size of 2 passes put together with tabs on the sides and printed instructions on the back. Each of those tabs was the same as 1 Fast Pass for each of the major attractions at the AK. The family started reading and said "oh my God, these are fast passes! for all of the rides at the Animal Kingdom! where's the woman who gave these to us? I want to give her a hug, I could not understand what she was telling us when she handed these out!"

The family was so very excited, the kids were jumping and screaming, they then all gave each other high fives and it seemed as if made their day.

Later today at MGM I noticed a couple more people holding these same passes as well, but with tabs for MGM rides.

Really cool....
We leave in 10 days and I hope we can see some of the extra magic! This kind of stuff is right up my alley. I love random acts of kindness and random acts of Disney kindness is undescribable. Imagine being lucky enough to be the CM who makes all those wishes come true! They must love their job!
I can't wait to experience this!

I saw them handing some things out to people today. Look for the khaki pants and blue shirts. The ones with a vest have the bigger prizes to hand out.

Thanks for posting. We have been waiting to hear if anyone has seen or gotten anything. Just adds to the "magic" of the vacation. :)

So people in identifiable costumes will soon be swarmed over anywhere in the parks for free stuff, including random all ride fastpasses that allow you to screw over your fellow guests because you were lucky?

I dunno...

Screw over your fellow guests????
I don't see it that way. I see it as a little Disney magic that some are lucky enough to receive. Is the person who wins the lottery "screwing over" all those who bought a ticket and didn't win? I think that's a little bit of a harsh statement.

now now.. lets just forget that comment and move on.. if she or he doesn't want a freebie or a fast pass or a really big dream prize.. then thats her loss.. what she might mean is ... just let it happen and then its really a dream ... right?

I think these random acts of kindness are great! How exciting - and what a great way to make someones day! :thumbsup2 True Disney magic!! :wizard: I only wish I had a trip planned during YOMD!!!

Give out as many "all ride passes" as they can for prizes which looks good for the press, and don't you think that a: the stand by times will go up, or b: the number of regular fast passes go down? There's only so much time in a day. The rides can't be available to everyone all day long.

I am a little bummed that the Cinderella Castle Suite isn't going to be given away until January. It would have been a little fun to think there was a minute chance of getting picked. Like they could read my mind or something and know this was a huge fantasy of mine! It's funny because I have had the dream for a while now. When I can't sleep at night I try and imagine myself in Cindy's castle in a huge princess bed which I retire too after I have been on the balcony gazing at the view and the stars! It's like my warped form of relaxation/therapy! It would have been fun to think there was a chance! We leave in 10 days!
Yes, I'm a 39 yr. old grown women and a mother! Sad I know. I'm nuts! Don't judge me! He He He

Keep in mind, the CM's approach the guests to present prizes. I assume that those who swarm the almighty white vested CM's will walk away with nada.

This is speculation on my part since I haven't seen any of this in person.

I agree. They are going to look for people/families who are just going about their business. Disney always knows exactly what they are doing and exactly how to make it work.

The other thread about the mouse ears said the CM yelled out "Who wants free stuff!"...

That seems odd.

What did that CM have??? Maybe not the big stuff?
