I saw it posted here, so thought why not and called. Just saved $3000!

I've seen a few posts here and there from someone saying that they never received a PIN postcard in the mail or in an email, but called and were told they had a PIN. Over Christmas, my nephews told me one of their secret wishes was to stay at Stich's house (AKA the Polynesian) during out next Disney vacation.

So, of course I call today to change from the GF TPV to the Poly TPV and the nicest person in the UNIVERSE tells me to hold on and they'll check to see if I have any "special codes" associated to my address. They looked and said OMG I don't believe it! Your code is good for almost ALL OF 2011!!!! Now I had to change our check in date by 1 day, however even with adding in a separate room only reservation for the 1st night I still saved a total of ~$3000 on both reservations (I usually take my nephews and mother, but this year my brother and his wife are going with as well so we needed two rooms instead of just one).

Call people CALL! It can't hurt and maybe you'll get sprinkled with some pixie dust I just was. Good luck!

You must be on . I haven't called, as I can't imagine having a "better deal" that what I currently have [AP discount = 42% off], but I will certainly check when planning my 2d trip of the year....Enjoy!!

Thanks! My dates are 11/26 room only and then 11/27-12/01 with the pin. I didn't get all the dates my pin was good for, all was said was that it was good for almost all of 2011. I reminded the agent I wanted to go in November 2011 around Thanksgiving and was told the pin was good for 11/13-11/19 or 11/27-12/03 for dates around then. Not sure whether or not those were dates already given out. If you'd like I can call and ask for all the dates it's good for in 2011 and let you know.

wow great news! we want to go pretty much the same dates as you next year.

when we went in 2008, we got at least 2 pin codes in the mail within 6 months. We just went again a couple months ago, so I'm hoping we'll get a new pin as well!

We are booked at the BC for Nov.27-Dec.3/11 !!!!

I have to check on flights. I wanted to go for 10 days but the pin has blackout dates. I think she said Nov.27-Dec.3 then Dec.11-24! So happy!!!! I think we will stay 3 nights at a mod. if I can get good flight deals! Hate to complain but I wanted to stay CL but they do not have roll in showers available. So I went with GV! Oh well so happy!

Congrats to those that got this PIN. Could you please tell us if you did anything lately that might have triggered the PIN? Like save vacations on the web site, order a planning DVD, call & price but not book?

I'm looking for Sept, have free dining booked but would prefer the 40% off a deluxe instead. Thanks for any info!
