Well off we all went yesterday to London, to see Mr Blaine himself, being a big fan(okay I know Im sad) .Walked over tower Bridge for DH to say "He's asleep", NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! I cried I cant come all this way and he's asleep.

But he must of heard me,coz as we got near his box he woke up(cheers david ), he was looking very bored, and it didnt help that there were some very roudy portsmouth footie fans, telling him what they thought(security intervened and moved them on!),

DB girlfriend was there, and Dh reckoned she looked better with her clothes on(after seeing the article in the paper!).
After a frantic phone call to me mum to turn sky interactive on, we also managed to get on TV to!!.

One bit that had Dh in fits was when a member of the crowd decided to chuck sausages at Mr Blaine, 2 stuck on the glass of his box and stayed there!!!!, talk about trying to torture the poor man!.
Anyway rounded off the day with another visit before I left, by this time were talking of thousands of people standing shoulder to shoulder, and lined up all along tower bridge, but Again he waved at me(well thats what im telling everybody! ). so I came home very happy, will try and post a couple of piccies once Ive got them developed

I must admit to checking in on David each day on Sky - unfortunately he is usually napping - mind you what else is there to do LOL :)

I read that one of the Sunday newspapers organised a BBQ yesterday, directly under his perspex box to tease him with the smell of the food

AND, that one of the men's magazines dangled a McD cheeseburger meal above his box from a remote-controlled model helicopter ... I must admit I couldn't help LOL at that particular stunt.

IMAGINE!! He's 'only' been in it for about 8 days  .. another 36 to go - how CAN he stand it???? Is he really up there for that length of time or is there some sort of trick to this?

Looking forward to your photos Jules :)

(BTW, my son went to see him last week and he waved at him too!)

Glad you had a good time Jules - of course he was waving at you!

Still can't quite see the point of it all though, but, everyone to their own!! :)

:D That's egg, bacon AND sausages he's had chucked at him now. All he needs is a few mushrooms and he's got himself a rather nice Sunday brunch;)

What a nutter:jester:
