I saw Bob Saget in Atlanta last night...

at a comedy club here. At first I really didn't have any desire to go. But my friends said it was *adults only*, so I knew I wouldn't be getting any of those lame America's Funniest Home Video jokes (thank goodness).

Well I have to say I haven't laughed that hard in years. My face literally hurt from smiling and laughing. I really have new respect for him. He's just a comedian trying to make a living...and he's doing a great job.

I didn't tell him after the show that he was great, so I thought I'd post it here and encourage everyone to go see him if he's touring in your area. It really was awesome.

I think the reason he's so funny is b/c you expect boring, lame jokes out of him, but he cussed, made fun of himself, picked on audience members in a fun way, called people's friends on the cell phone and let us listen....

very adult, so if bad words upset you, you may want to sit this one out!

I have found that to be true too and was actually shocked seeing his stand up! It is so different from AFV and Full House. He is a VERY funny man!

Ahh..Bob Saget! DD5 and I have been watchin America's Funniest Home videos on PAX and have been enjoying them. The other night they had one of a little boy getting wet at those funny water fountains in EPCOT near Honey I shrunk the audience. Both DD & I yelled out - "That's EPCOT!" at the same time!

Glad you enjoyed the show! He can be real annoying on AFHV and Full House...
