Yesterday our friend who knows of our Disney obsession comes up to us and tells us he had booked a trip for the end of March. He also really likes Disney but is definately not as obsessed as us. 
Well, it's the exact same time we are going! We asked if he'd like to join us for dinner one night, and he said he'd have to ask the other guy he's going with but probably will. Anyway, asking all the excited questions I did I deduced he was going for 4 days and is staying at the Contemporary on a package deal and he probably got the hoppers which he won't use. He is not able to go for a full week so the 4/3 deal wouldn't help him.
Well, after I got home I looked up the discounts which may be available for him as I hate to hear of anyone having to pay full price to go to WDW. We called him and told him about the OZI code and also told him it was for room only reservations, but he may be able to change his accordingly as long as they still had some rooms left with the code. He really had no idea what to do so we tried to explain it to him. Well, he calls us back about 1/2 hour later and is super excited. He tells how he gave them that code but they said it wouldn't work for him as it was not for package deals. Next I'm not too sure if he asked if they had one that would work for him or if they just volunteered what would but they applied one that was for packages. He wasn't positive of what it was. He *thinks* it may be OMI or NMI or MNM, definately an M in it. Anyway, it saved him $425 off his package of 4 days at the Contemporary for 2 AD with tickets!!
I'll bet next time he goes he'll be calling us first!
