I saved big time!!!! PIN code for resort

I recieved a PIN code for 20% a value resort, 30% off a moderate resort and 40% a deluxe... I called to see if I could use it and I saved over $1600!!!!!

Wow, that's great! I used that pin and saved a little under $200, but we're staying at a value. Every little bit (or big bit!) helps!

I have a family of five and we are staying at the Poly club level for 5 nights My original amount was $4700 and now its $3100

I got the same pin and used to it upgrade my existing AAA GV Poly room to a Club level and even saved $160! So excited, I've never been able to use the pin's before because the timing wasn't right. With my teacher discount at the Dolphin and now this pin at the Poly - it's going to be much more affordable now! Wootwoot!

How far into 2010 did this pin go? Did it include November? The one I received was only good through June?

Not a huge deal to most but 100.00 or so saved to a teacher is HUGE haha!

My question now is if I book online can I call and have them apply the PIN to it later? Reason being I do not currently have the time to book it all on the phone.

Well....I called them and they applied it.

Unfortunately they only had preferred rooms to apply it to but we are still going to save 85.00 AND be get the preffered room. Good enough for me (although I am going to try back periodocally and see if a non-preffered opens up with the deal).

I got one by email but it said nothing about Value...soooooooo....I decided to call them and aske if I had a PIN attached to my name (already knowing I did) the CM confirmed I didi and it was the % off, I asked if Value was included and the CM said "yes, no problem".

I got the same pincode yesterday by email. We're already going in June so I called to see if we could use it for this trip even though we were already booked. By the end of the phone call, we ended up in the Wilderness Lodge with a Woods View room. I just figured out that we are saving over 900.00 and are paying only 150 more for a week in a deluxe hotel.

It's always been my dream to stay at WL and now we can really do it.

That's awesome. Just be careful about the "woods view." We travel to WL every year, last year friends of ours went with us to. They had a woods view and it was actually the employee parking lot and dumpsters. If your not picky about the room view this won't matter.

We've been traveling to WL for eight years straight. Before we bought into DVC, we asked the front desk when we checked in to the WL to see if any courtyard view rooms were available. The staff ugraded our room free of charge on two occasions.

Eek! I don't know if I want to look at garbage cans The CM that I talked to put on our invoice that we were a nice family and requested that we have a nice view It was kind of funny to see this actually listed right on there. Will it work? I hope but who knows. Either way, I'm too excited for words.

I got mine in an email, but I'd already booked through AAA, so I don't know if that triggered it or not. You can always call and ask them if there is a pin attached to your name. I've heard of other people who have had pin codes they hadn't known about and when they called it was a nice surprise for them!
