I rode Toy Story Mania!

Yeah it's been hard walking by there all week and not being able to ride! Kept hoping for soft opening of some sort, but no such luck. I'm not overly disappointed since watching it on youtube though. I think I'll actually like Buzz better.

I really wish ToT was single rider firendly, I would take serious advantage of that.

Another good thing about a new ride opening as it diverts much of the hype and crowds to that attraction and can aleviate the que burden on the other wonderful attractions, hopefully TSM will make riding other rides slightly easier.

Actually I think that TSMM will make California Screamin's line much longer because people are going to head to TSMM and then ride Screamin simply because it's right next door. But hopefully it will decrease lines like Soarin, but most rides at DCA don't have long lines to begin with.

BTW, my top score was 153,600. See if you can beat it! :)

DH got 155,000 and I got 110,500 while trying to help my son as well.

We just got back from DLs CM preview and I can tell you that it was awesome. I wasn't disappointed as some other sites have tried to scare us all to think. We had a lot of fun and would go on it again, and again, and again. The only thing is that even though we could bring our 1 year old on it, we didn't because the vehicles moved really fast and turned around fast that I thought it would just freak him out. We ended up doing a baby switch and worked out well. The lines were long but it moved really quick and we even had 3 kids in tow.

First score was 95,000, 2nd score was 160,000, 3rd score was 145,000 4th score was 148,000... :)

I know the secrets already... hehehehehehehehehehe :)

I just returned from a quick trip to WDW. As a DL veteran and AP holder let me just say that I so missed DL's weather and "smallness" ! :rotfl:
Anyway, I was able to ride the new Toy Story Mania in Hollywood Studios. Very cool ride. I hope it is the same at DCA! The lines were very long and we ended up doing single rider. They do have fast passes there (although I heard DCA's won't).
I can't wait to ride DCA's later this year to compare! :cool1:

The food network just did a "Disney Pixar Cakes" challenge this past week. Someone got ToyStory. During the set up of piece on it, they showed many shots of the ride. Looks very neat. Look for it, they may rerun it.

I saw that show. It was really cool how each cake designer took a different attraction at WDW and made it into a cake. But I really liked the footage that they showed of TSMM too!

When does Disneyland's officially open?

June 17th.

just got back from cast member previews for the ride and loved it. While there is room for a single rider entrance I'm not sure if there will be one. I will post pigs tomorrow

I just got back and managed to sweet talk my way on to the CM preview! :cool1:

Man, was that a great ride! Really, I was laughing with glee throughout! The special effects are great!

I scored 124,900 on my first try - looking forward to trying it again!
