I am totally confused. On the I-Ride Trolley page it says, children 3-9 pay half price , so I assume, 10 and above pay full. But I also found sites stating that kids up to 12 travel free (e.g. the Floridays Resort site says so).
Does anyone have any recent experience with this?

Even the I-Ride Trolley has a page that indicates that 12 and under are free with a "Paying" adult. I also found the same reference on a few other sites.

My take on this means that for each paying adult, one child (3-12 years old) is free.

Examples:
1 Adult / 1 Child - Pay for 1 Adult, Free 1 Child
1 Adult / 2 Children - Pay 1 Adult, Pay 1 Child, Free 1 Child

That page is obviously an out of date publicity release ... it shows adult fares as $1, while everywhere else shows $2 a ride.

I think the free child fare was eliminated when the adult fare increased from $1 to $2.

The miscellaneous 3rd party web sites probably were never updated as well, especially if they still show a $1 adult fare.

You can also ride Lynx #8 which runs to most of the same places as the I-Ride main (red) route, runs more frequently and later, and charges $4.50 for an all-day pass compared to I-Ride's $5. Lynx all-day passes can be purchased from the driver, while I-Ride's have to be purchased in advance.

Thanks. In order for my kids to get the reduced fare, we would have to get them IDs from Lynx. And since most of the days we would probably on go 2 times, the day tickets are not that interesting. We'll probably just decide when we are there and use it on a daily basis...
