I cant beleive I wrote a long reply and I must have taken too long becasue I had to re log in and my message "disappeared". What a bummer!

Anyway, I looked up the hotel we stayed at and it was the Sheraton Studio City. It's REALLY cool looking. It's lit up all different colors at night (check out thier website and see the pix).
It was nice, but the service was poor. I had to call the manager eventually and I am not a picky person. Also, do NOT fall for the time share deal...they harrass you to death in the lobby. WE did (stupid, I know!!) and what was suppose to be a 45 minute presentation was FOUR hours, and ruined half our day. They were late picking us up, then when we returned to our hotel, we missed the last FREE shuttle to US and had to pay for a taxi, etc... not to mention, after listening to the presentation, they do NOT take NO for an answer. You could tell them you just filed bankruptcy and they will bring their manager over to convince you that you can do it still. It's a total nightmare and not worth anything. Our only 'reward' was we got discount tickets to US, but by the time we got there, and the park closed at like 5 or 6pm, we didnt get to see half the park. It was our only day there, too. We were really bummed. Thank goodness it wasn't the day we went to IOU...that was the next day.

I bought the VHS video of IOU so we could re live the fun at home...advise....do not accidentally buy the European version! It wont work in your VCR...I had to send it back, order a new one and it took 3 months. I guess nowadays we all buys DVD's, so I dont know if that, too, comes in different versions. Just wanted to mention that in case anyone reads this and makes the same mistake I did.

Have a great day.:wave2:

eeep! That's not cool!!
My parents and I usually stay at either the Fairfield Inn or Sleep Inn. Probably not as fancy (haven';t seen pics of the hotel you're talking about), but are nice...especially with the location and good customer service.

Hope next time you visit US you'll get to see more!! ::yes::

My daughter is jealous that you live in Fla. and can go to theme parks all the time!! Guess I am a little bit, too! That would be so great. There is so much I want to see and do while I am there but not enought time.

How is the bug situation in June? What is good to use? We are not used to mosquitos and other flying pests.
