I refuse to diet!

Maybe a vent, just wondering whether anyone else felt like I do.

I get so sick of all the dieting talk all the time...everywhere you go. Especially during January and Februar (it's subsiding now) Like, if you're not dieting, you're some kind of a pig.

I could lose about an inch from my waist; it would put me in a solid size 10. Right now, it's wierd - a 10 is too small a 12 is too big.

But I like to eat. I don't sit around on the couch eating bags of chips all day, but if I want some chips with my lunch, I'll have them. I don't have a case of Hershey bars in my pantry, but yesterday I had a bag of M&Ms in the afternoon. Most of all, I don't eat out everyday - not even once a week. But when I do, I sure as heck am not going to have a garden salad!

I exercise everyday. Either a brisk walk or a good 1 hour workout at the gym. I absolutely love it, but that is all I am willing to do for my figure.

Going on a diet is just setting myself up for failure. It never happens - it will never happen. 4 years ago I quit smoking. No way am I going to quit eating!

I exercise regularly. I suppose if I didn't I'd need to diet. But when people comment about how their diets are going I just talk about my exercise program and how it's going. They get the point.
 
DIET is a four letter word!

I refuse to diet. It's stupid...really. I could get hit by a truck tomorrow and die, so TODAY I sure as hell am going to enjoy that piece of cake! I don't pig out, I don't eat large portions and I never go back for seconds (except on Thanksgiving and Christmas). My cholesterol is sterling as is my sugar levels. My doc wonders how I'm so healthy.

I would like to excercise a bit more, mostly to tone and for endurance. I think I might train for the WDW half marathon next year. I'm seeing if my dad will do it with me.

I am not fat (5'7" and 190lbs). dieting is stupid!

I swear I'm the only one in my office not on Atkins.
Wow, Great ~ You lost 10 pounds good for you.....but seriously do you have to bring your scale into the office every Friday for Weigh-In??? Learning a little Diet Etiquette wouldn't hurt some people.
