Seeing this thread made me remember something I read in the Dallas Voice yesterday about a new Senior Living center in our neighborhood, that's catering to the LGBT community.

Also a friend of mine who owns Rainbow Ranch has started selling off plots of land for Stonewall Estates, a retirement area across from the Ranch for GLBT seniors to build retirement estates. I heard he's already sold some.

I've never been any good with catchy names. But, I think that the idea is great. I haven't worried much about it here--It helps that we are legally married, but, I also have faith in many of the faith-based options since the same groups fought the government to create equal marriage. But, if I lived in FL, I think I'd be terrified of growing old.
