Hey everyone! I guess I'll do a quick introduction... My name is Jill im 26 yrs old and I work in the human services field with adults who have developmental and physical disabilities... My job is high stress and constantly fast paced ( I deal with a lot of physically aggressive so I am always running or ducking)
I've tried diets and exercise programs before I always do so well for a while but then I lose my motivation.... I haven't read any one elses journals I figured I would just dive in so I dont actually know how other people are writting theirs... Today is Saturday June 21st I quit smoking today (or at least I have gotten through today with out a cig) and tomorrow I am starting my diet and exercise again. From what I have heard most people gain weight when they quit smoking because to make up for the oral sensation of having a cig in their mouth they eat well I will only eat fruits and veggies and I am hoping to defy the odds by not gaining any weight but rather loose weight....
Today I walked a mile, it took me 35 minutes.
Tomorrow I will weigh myself (something I have not done in a long time) and I will come up with my desired weight and I will look down and see my feet again!!
Jill
PS: My goal for this journal is to give me a place to write about my day or week and "gloat" about my accomplishments. Please feel free to comment!
