I caught up in the frenzy (ok..my own frenzy) of booking 2006 cruises and just had to book!! I ended up booking the August 19th 06 cruise that so many DISers are going to be on. I also roped my Mom and my brother who lives in europe to come too.

Here is what we got (without air, insurance or transfers):

2 adults, 2 kids (2, 11) category 6 $4,304
2 adults, 1 kid (17) category 6 $4,400
2 adults, 2 kids (9, 13) category 11 $3,379

This is sure an expensive habit.

I know just what you mean. I was looking at a sept. 05 cruise, cat.11. Now we are going on the special Sept 16 2006 cruise cat 7 ( I hope). No matter what cat. we choose we are going to be on that cruise. This board is dangerous! And I love it!!!!

I know what you mean, I got caught up in the frenzy too. Just waiting on my quote now. I wanted to go so badly on the Aug 19, but am afraid the start of school will interfere, and DS is limited on absent days. So we booked for July's special sailing. More $$ but we know we are safe for dates.

Well, I'm in the same boat.... literally!! I got caught up as well, AND... we're on the 8/19/06 Magic. I don't have the quote back from Dreams yet, but I've got my countdown, LOL!!!

LOL; my DH wasn't thrilled when I told him yesterday that I booked Aug 19, 2006 cruise on a whim, especially since we're still waiting for the bill for our upcoming Nov cruise!!! I figure he's got two years to warm up to the idea

I know what you mean, I just paid off our two cruises for January 2005 and October 2005. Then yesterday I put the deposit down for May 2006. The proceeds from selling our DVC Timeshare sure came in handy!!! That's it, no more booking cruises for a while.

Talking about getting ahead of yourself...I just booked a December 2006 cruise! At least I have lots of time to save up for it!
