I actually like Miley's new single 'The Climb'.
And man I really hate to admit that..
I prefer the music and the lyrics, her voice sounds kinda weird (like as if Nick Jonas's voice from two years ago was combined with hers lol) but it's not that bad.
Somebody check my mind..

I despise Miley Cyrus (and you can argue with me all you want on that, you won't change my opinion of her) but I am addicted to 7 things! The lyrics are average but damn it's catchy!
I try the whole seperate the art from the artist thing (especially when it comes to Brandon Flowers of The Killers, because I love The Killers but gawsh he comes across as an arrogant egomaniac in interviews) but for some reason when it comes to some people (especially disney owned people) the artist is just the art.

I haven't heard it yet, but if what Haz and you say, I'll be hooked on it. I don't like Miley's attitudes, but I usually try to keep an open mind about music. Like Haz said, the Disney people are usually the people/music that I can't stand at all.

I've never heard that particular song but I have to admit that I like most of the new cd's songs. Except the DREADFUL 7 Things. I don't like Miley's attitude or some of her actions but when I find a song I like I can't help it. It's stuck.

I have to agree. A while ago I was a major fan, but with her recent events, I have kind of lost my appeal to her. But, I just listened to this song and I must say it did give me chills. Her voice sounds natural and pure, not like many of the other songs she sings as Hannah Montana. I'm looking forward to the movie and the new soundtrack. It may give her a boost in her fan department.
