I really hate it when I find decent airline prices to Orlando...

Found a good deal ($59/each way) to Orlando from Boston for 1/18 - 24th...thinking about celebrating DD's 7th bd on the 22nd. (Both DS & I have celebrated bd's down there but not DD - DH hasn't either but his is in July and we won't go then...) Of course no-one else knows that I check out these "fantasy" trips... Kids would miss school Wed, thurs, fri, mon & tues..hmmm... Too bad I can't book it..

I just saw that great airfare from Boston to Orlando, too! And I am SO tempted to mention it to DH $59 each way is a great price.

I always get alerts on great prices but our dates aren't firm yet--and it WILL be July, since I'm a teacher. But my BDay is in July, so it's all good! Just have to pin DH down on dates so I can book our first trip since we pulled out of Florida on 1/2/04!

Count me in on the fantasy trips ! I do hate it when a great fare "dings" in from Southwest. For a few moments I'll have the whole thing planned out but then reality hits.
DH and I really need to plan for our trips because DH is self employed. You'd think that would make it easier right? Just go whenever we want because we don't have to clear it with the boss? Nope, one of the major issues is not only coming up with money for the unplanned fantasy trip but also saving enough money to cover the bills that will be due when we get back from the trip. DH doesn't get vacation pay so if he doesn't work, he doesn't get paid. And if he doesn't get paid we can't pay the bills. See how this viscious cycle kills the dream?

Oh to be independently wealthy!!

I check airfare almost every day. And almost every day I have a new trip in the works. Now if it was a real trip and not a "fantasy" one.
