I put the scale away...

Today I threw the scale in the cabinet. I was jumping on every day, at least once a day, as I passed by, and it was getting ridiculous. If it's in the cabinet I have to work to take it out, so don't bother. I am going to use it once a week to keep up with the No more Foolin Around challenge, and that is it!

Ahhh, freedom:teeth:

Good for you! I was starting to do the same thing until I had one bad week and then another. I haven't gotten on the scale in 2 weeks! I am scared to! I am going to get on tomorrow morning to see what kind of damage I have done. I don't think that I have gained anything back, but I am still scared. I hate the darn scale. I am trying to judge myself by the way that my clothes fit. I keep trying on my skinny jeans and they seem to be looser in the legs. Although, with my luck the only thing I have accomplished is to stretch them out!

Good for you! I became obsessed with it and weighed myself everyday and found that it dictated my day! Not a good thing!

Now I realize that my weight WILL fluctuate no matter what I do and that the long run is what really matters. It took alot of stress off of me and allows me to enjoy this WOE! :teeth:

Good for you!! We don't need some stinking scales dictating our progress!!:teeth:
My husband had to hide our scale from me. I was getting on it sometimes 4 or more times in a day. He got them out for me for my weekly weigh-in, but I asked him to hide them again so that I'll stay off them. They drive me crazy.

I admit I am addicted to the scale!:( I did not weigh myself for year's and sometimes refused to let my doctor weigh me for my annual. I think no weighing is as bad as weighing daily (or more).

Right now I am addticted to the scale! I weigh EVERYDAY! I was weighing in 2-3 times per day (NOT GOOD). I gained the last 2 weigh ins at WW, but this week I should be back down. So, I have been hovering for weeks around the same weight. I did start going to Curves, so I will try to let the tape measure and Body Fat Index help be my guide.

I am not ready to give my scale up I still have 20 pounds to go!

Congratulations on your new found freedom! Is it kinda like burning your bra during the Sixties?

I had to break my addiction to the scale. The bloat fairy was driving me crazy. I prefer using a tape measure to guage my progress. It's such a liberation :)
