I pool hopped!!

Oooops...sorry wrong board!! He he he...I did pool hopped...only at Universal!!...AND yes...it is OK to pool hop there. And actually they want you to pool hop so you can check out the other resorts and maybe lure you to making ressies to the other resorts.

And you guys thought...oh no..another debate right here!!

Which resort did you stay at while at Universal? Interesting that you can pool hop while there! Neat!

I thought it was neat that you could pool hop there, too. I made a ressie today for HRH, and the girl on the phone was telling me that you could use the pools at any of their hotels. I don't know much about Universal, and she had been telling me about each of the hotels and their pools!

On my signature it says RPR which stands for Royal Pacific Resort. I wasn't planning to stay here at first. I was planning to go with HRH which stands for Hard Rock Hotel, but they didn't have any discounts available at that time...so I ended up with RPR which is a great resort...wonderful friendly helpful people there. There is also another Loews hotel and it's PBH which stands for Portofino Bay Hotel.

Yes...I made sure that this is OK to do --pool hop. I asked for a towel at HRH and they check my RPR ID and I just signed out a towel...and that's it. I guess they can do this cause there is only three resorts at Universal. It would probably be a caos if there is many resorts there and the pool would be overly crowded.

I pool hopped just to check out HRH and it is a gorgeous hotel. And yes I would stay there...but I like the pacific south island themeing at RPR.

yes...dmonroe...it is so neat to pool hop. Unfortunately we didn't make it to PBH. I guess it wouldn't really matter...not planning to stay there in the near future anyhow. I just wish that all the resorts at Universal would have those refillable mugs.

BTW...if you buy those souvinier mugs at either parks (Spongebob or rugrats mugs) you can get if refill for only $.89 cents and use it at either park good only for that day of purchase. I have purchased both mugs. Good size and it was definitely worth it for us!!

*Fantasia*--Thanks for letting me know about the mugs. We will be traveling in early September, and I know it will still be so HOT! We're used to going in December and not really dealing with the heat! It will be nice to be able to re-fill!

I hope we get to pool hop some. We'll only be there for 2 nights (and really only 1 full day) before heading over to BCV for 6 nights
