I Pod Questions

I was recently introduced to the I Pod, wlecome to 2011 for me,
They told me I could get the one with the camera and replace my digital camera and I can put videos on it for my daughter.

Is this true? It seems almost to good to be true.

Yes the ipod touch 4th generantion comes with a camera and camader. Now I don't know about replacing your digital camera. All know I use both my vacation NYC my phone camera and digital camera . At the time I had Samsung A737 with a 1.3 pixels camera. I have old Nikon 4700 that great pictures.

I have LG prime now and has 2.0 pixels camera on it.

Okay I and not fangirl Apple yet. I am like you I will get a ipod touch in 2011.

I belive the new nanos have cameras (not sure about video cameras, but I think so..) my new itouch does (and a camcorder) .. but honestly it's terrible. Fun for in a pinch, but I wouldn't use it for anything important.

I have loaded videos on both my nano and my touch.. you can download them from itunes, or there are various ways to do it from DVDs you already own, or you can buy DVDs that come with a digital copy.

If you have netflix she can watch videos on a touch anywhere there is wifi.

Don't get rid of your camera. The ipod's camera is about 1 megapixel I believe. All of apple's camera's are terrible in my opinion. I even hate the one on my iphone.

iPod and phone camera are good for everyday photo to put on facebook or whatever but for vacation photos and anything that you want to keep and do prints for keep your regular camera.

I have an Evo with an 8.0 megapixel camera in it and I still won't be getting rid of my camera. It's great for being able to capture something I otherwise wouldn't because my camera is so big I don't lug it everywhere though.

I agree with the idea that it's a nice extra thing to have - the camera and the video camera in the phone. We take a lot of impromptu pix and video now with our phones and with the iPhone 4, they really are quite good (actually shocking how good to me) but I would never consider my phone's capabilities as able to replace our real camera or our videocamera.

Nope. The Nano Touch doesn't have a camera & they got rid of the video on the Nano Touch.
