My 13 yo deleted some of the music on my itunes

I have not 'transfered my ipod' yet, does anyone knwo how I can save the 6 CDs and 25 single songs that are no longer on my i tubes library?

I could kill her, cause it has happened before, but I was able to find them in the recycle bin and refresh them, they are not there this time. UGH!

Could the have deleted them off itunes but they are still in a folder on your hard drive? Did you look in the itunes folder and then mymusic or wherever you store it?

depending on OS you might be able to do a restore back to when they were deleted and that might bring them back.

Go to Documents, to Music, to I-tunes.

Though with mine, the CD's that I've loaded are in their own folders. HTH.

If the songs are deleted off your computer completely, I think the only way to get them back is to redownload them or reupload the CDs. Such a pain in the butt. I accidentally deleted a CD off of my computer (not off of iTunes), and when I plugged my iPod into my computer, it deleted the songs off of it.
If they're still on your computer, all you have to do is readd the files to your iTunes library.

If you bought the songs at the iTunes store, they should still be there if you click on the "Purchased" link.

I'm curious: What's iTune's policy regarding re-downloading purchases? Zune Marketplace's policy is that you can re-download WMAs up to five times, while no re-downloading of MP3s is permitted due to licensing restrictions.

Have you checked your computer's recycle bin?

If these were songs you downloaded from Itunes you can redownload purchases.

Now if these were songs from your own CD's here is an article I found with a list of programs you can use

I'm sure there are other programs to use, and maybe someone will post one they have used.

Our computer crashed and I thought we had had our entire Itunes library on my external hard drive, but sadly it was not. So I know what you mean. We only have 500 CD's that we had transferred to Itunes and our Ipods. So, it is all on the Ipod's and not the Itunes. I haven't tried one of these yet, waiting on the DH to help me out. I hope it works out for you.
