Tony,
If I were you, I'd sneak out of the house today and buy a boquet of roses. Then, when she gets the call, you can hand them to her and say "See, I knew you could do it!"
I am sure she passed! With such a need for nurses in this country, why would they not give her every chance to pass? If she was doing poorly at first I am sure they would give her MORE chances, not LESS! I agree with eveyone else: it will be good news! Can't wait to hear!
I just took my RN Boards last month and passed with 75 questions. The test seems to bring so much stress with it. You feel like everything you have worked so hard for rides on this one test. I can truly sympathize with your wife. I'm glad you are such a support to her. It probably means more than you know.
Way cool that she will get her results so soon. I took my test on a Tuesday morning and didn't get the results until Friday.
Congratulations to you and your wife!!
Can you believe this crap-o-la!!! Still no word yet!!!!!!
You guys are great! I am ready to pull out what little hair I have left. Becky worked last night and is sleeping now. I am trying to look at the good point of her only having 75 questions. Our phone has been ringing off the hook with people wanting to know if she passed.
Just got a phone call from a girl Becky took the test with. She sounds so depressed. She is waiting too. From the sound of the message it sounds like she is about ready to cry. Maybe I will call the testing center and see if they have any idea when the results will be available.
It's gotta be nerve wracking for her! Give her some TLC....take her out for awhile or make her breakfast in bed. Keep her mind occupied...and be ready with those flowers when the call comes!
When I wrote my four days worth of exams to get my Chartered Accountant designation I had to wait over 3 months to get the results! That was absolute agony (especially since if you fail you have to wait until the next year to try again). Thankfully I passed the first time but I nearly had a nervous breakdown waiting to find out. And it didn't help that I sent my DH to pick up the results for me (they hand them out in person) and he came back to the car (where I was sobbing) with this dreadful sullen look on his face that I was sure I had failed! I could have choked him when I opened it and found out I made it (since the lady who gave him the results told him I had passed!). Good luck to your DW. I'm sure she did fine but I know she won't feel any better until she knows for sure.
one of our interpreters at church is in his 4th month waiting to see if he got his certification from RID. Talk about agony. Ouch.
QA performance takes about 3-4 months. I am not looking forward to it. Written took a month. I passed with a 97 yeah
They really make it torture for us.
